Instead of typical paradigm in teaching and educating, this course is to make you apply Artificial Intelligence (AI) principals and theories in a practical manner. It’s a project-oriented course that covers basic and essential AI applied theories aligned with necessary software engineering principals to manage and monitor the project life-cycle.

This course seeks:
- Introducing AI science in a practical approach.
- Making you familiar with basic AI topics.
- Helping you to demonstrate implementing AI principals.
- Having general knowledge about the need of AI in technologies and applications live today.

If you are interested in semantic web, web crawling, intelligent and optimized web search; you will enjoy spending time in implementing The Focused Web Crawler project with Python as a practical practice on theories and principals discussed on the class.

So, in order to join AI class, it's preferred to have prior knowledge about:

- Introduction to programming: Prior computer programming experience is expected
- Introduction to Computation: Basic concepts of discrete mathematics
- Data Structures (lists, queues, hash tables, graphs, and trees.)

Project development will be done in Python
